IIM Rohtak has started a specialized program in “Sports Management” for experienced professionals, sports graduates, and sports enthusiasts. This program is for industrious participants interested in working in the sports, entertainment and related industries.
Candidate with Bachelor's Degree in any
discipline with a minimum of 50% marks or
equivalent overall grade point average will be
eligible to apply. Work Experience in relevant
field will be an added advantage.

Assessment Test (Online) and Online Personal
Interviews
This is one of the selection component for the admission. An online test (SAA) will be administered on the registered candidates. The test comprises ‘Quantitative Aptitude’, ‘Logical Reasoning’, ‘English Comprehension’, ‘Sports Aptitude’ components. SAA will be followed by Skype based online Personal Interviews (PI).
Based on the performance in SAA and PI, a merit list will be formed. The admission offers letter will be issued to the ones who comes under the merit list.
In ePGDSM, the participants will be given exposure to general management and in-depth knowledge about core sports management .
Being a specialized course, the institute has tied up with various international sports management universities. The eminent professors from these universities will impart the course knowledge and share their valuable experience. The details are available at website.
The participants can involve themselves with live projects and industry visits from Term-2 onwards. Institute will issue the authorization letter to the participants to be part of the events/industry visits.
This course makes participants suitable for jobs in the domain of Event Management, Management of Sports Leagues, Merchandising, Team Managers, Infrastructure and Facility Managers, and various roles in Media and Advertising, Sponsorships and Brand Management.
